NotebookLM Guide is an independent editorial publication dedicated to Evidence-Grounded AI. We publish tutorials, workflow systems, implementation guides, and long-form analysis that help researchers, educators, students, and knowledge workers use AI more effectively — and more responsibly.
Google's NotebookLM was renamed Gemini Notebook in July 2026. While the product name has changed, our editorial mission has not.
Rather than following product branding, we focus on enduring principles: source-grounded reasoning, evidence-based workflows, research methodology, and practical AI implementation.
Throughout the site, newer articles primarily use Gemini Notebook, while historical content may continue to reference NotebookLM for accuracy and search continuity. Editor's Notes are added where appropriate to explain the transition.
NotebookLM Guide is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
“Products evolve. Editorial standards endure.”
AI changed the economics of information. The scarce resource is no longer information. It is judgment.
Everything we publish is built around that belief. We don't help you find more information — we help you make better decisions with what you already have.

From First Experiment to Research Publication
Our mission is to help professionals make better decisions in an AI-first world.
Most AI advice online is surface-level: generic tips, recycled threads, and hype without substance. We wanted something different — a resource built by people who actually push these tools to their limits daily.
We don't just write about AI. We use it to run research pipelines, produce content at scale, prepare students for high-stakes exams, and build businesses. Every prompt on this site has been tested in real workflows. Every guide reflects hours of experimentation. If it's here, it works.
Evidence-Grounded Workflows
Source-based reasoning with documented methodology and reproducible results.
Research Systems
Complete pipelines from first source to final output — literature reviews, synthesis, and deep research.
Multi-AI Orchestration
Combining the cognitive strengths of different AI systems into unified workflows.
Implementation Guides
Practical documentation that turns readers into practitioners who can outperform teams twice their size.
What We Build
Prompt Libraries
Battle-tested prompt collections for research, content creation, exam prep, and studio output — designed to produce expert-level results from day one.
Research Workflows
Complete systems for literature reviews, deep research, bias audits, and cross-document synthesis — from first source to final draft.
Exam Prep Systems
Multi-phase study protocols for AP, LSAT, GRE, CFA, CPA, USMLE, and Bar exams — using AI as a zero-hallucination study partner.
Multi-AI Orchestration
Strategies for combining the cognitive strengths of NotebookLM, Claude, Grok, ChatGPT, Gemini, and DeepSeek into unified workflows.
Our Toolkit
Different AI systems have different cognitive strengths. We don't have a favorite tool — we have a favorite stack. The right combination depends on the task.

How We Think
-
01
Prompts Are Infrastructure, Not Magic
A good prompt is an engineering artifact — reproducible, testable, and improvable. We design prompts the way engineers design systems: with clear inputs, expected outputs, and failure modes documented.
-
02
Multi-AI Beats Single-AI
No one model is best at everything. NotebookLM grounds knowledge in your sources. Claude reasons deeply through complex problems. Grok provides real-time awareness. The power is in the orchestration.
-
03
Show the Work, Not the Hype
We never publish a prompt we haven't tested ourselves. Every guide includes what to expect, why it works, and what can go wrong. No "10 amazing AI hacks" listicles.
-
04
Transformation Over Features
We don't describe what tools do — we describe what you become when you use them well. The goal is turning readers into practitioners who can outperform teams twice their size.
How We Maintain Quality
Every guide on NotebookLM Guide follows five editorial principles. These are not aspirational — they are the conditions under which we publish. Editorial independence: NotebookLM Guide is independently published and not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google. We buy our own subscriptions, test on our own accounts, and no vendor reviews our conclusions before publication.
- Test before publishing. Every workflow is tested in real conditions before it appears on this site. If we haven't used it, we don't publish it.
- Distinguish fact from opinion. We clearly separate verified information from our editorial perspective. When something is our interpretation, we say so.
- Cite official sources. We reference official documentation, changelogs, and announcements whenever available. Claims are linked to evidence.
- Update when tools change. AI tools evolve rapidly. We revise guides when features change, and we date every update so you know how current the information is.
- Publish corrections. When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction. Accuracy matters more than being right the first time.
“We believe AI should amplify human judgment — not replace it.”
